April 11 -

I’m not asking you to stop
asking me
If the closet
Doesn’t close right
Because of me.
You placed your hands
Crossed on opposite hips
“What did you do?”The hue between us
Desaturated
And in the space there left
I let you and your fears
Have today.
Your voice
Though quieted
As I held you
Though your
Arms never left yourself.
I already blame myself.
