Terabithia

PJR — April 20, 2021

Stupid complexity ruins all
And age knows of this far too well
Adults seem, willingly to fall
Into perpetuity of this hell
When Maniacs would run the rails
And doves are wrung reluctantly,
Emotion there obliquely fails
When one’s not captain of his sea.
Mouses given flowers, and they
Shove a pigman disrespect.
It was not what you took away -
More how majority connects.
The more we live the more it goes,
Addendums tarnish simple thoughts
We’re thrown abruptly through bellows
Under a hearth of wanton naughts
So I’ll just sit here pining quiet,
To keep my mice and mental health,
While sitting in a silent riot
Boxing up my wife’s bookshelf.
